Kevin has finished the new bracing on “Benny”, the Venezuelan Cuatro that he bought from César Salazar Tovar (“imcesar”on eBay). Plans for the new fingerboard, nut, frets, tap plate and bridge plus some comments about Cedrela.

A Winter Song in memory of Mickey McGonegal 12/03/1958 – 08/05/2008.
Some people hear this as a “sad song”. It is not meant to be sad but I can’t tell you how to hear it. It is more a song for when the sadness has receded and there is consolation in happy memories. No regrets.
